The challenge

CMB needed to modernize the monitoring of armored metering boxes for energy utilities — integrating field devices, apps, corporate systems and a real-time control center, with high availability and support for thousands of distributed devices. It had to track critical events such as door openings, tampering attempts, fire, smoke, vibration and communication failures.
